標題: How the POE 2 Monk Giga Bonk Build Hits 325K EHP
A Low Life Monk can look fragile on paper, yet this Giga Bonk setup is built to take on some of Path of Exile 2's toughest Grand Expedition farming. With the right investment, it can push past 100 million DPS and reach about 325K effective hit points. That number does not come from one miracle item. It comes from several systems working together: Energy Shield, Low Life bonuses, strong ailment protection, and a carefully planned combo rotation. You will need serious POE 2 Currency to assemble it, but the result feels remarkably stable once the key pieces are in place. Why Low Life Drives the Damage
The build deliberately keeps the character at 35% or less of maximum life. That sounds dangerous, and it is if the defences are incomplete. Once the setup is working, though, the Low Life state becomes the main source of its damage ceiling.
Execute 3 adds more damage against suitable targets, while Dire Strike and Killer Instinct raise attack damage during the same condition. Pain Attunement then adds a strong critical damage multiplier. None of these bonuses is small. Together, they explain why the build can hit so much harder than a more conventional Monk.
The tricky part is staying below the threshold without letting damage-over-time effects tear through the character. Edzeri's Communion, gained through the Trialmaster content, reserves Life instead of Spirit at a reduced cost. That keeps the Monk in Low Life almost constantly. Decree of Loyalty is just as important. Its effect stops damage-over-time effects from bypassing Energy Shield, which removes one of the most dangerous weaknesses of this playstyle.
Defences, Immunities, and the Gear Problem
Decree of Loyalty uses the body armour slot, so the rest of the equipment has to carry more defensive weight. The Way of the Stonefist Ascendancy node helps solve that issue by giving the glove slot access to unusually strong modifiers. Depending on the item, you can gain armour, evasion, Energy Shield, level-based defences, skill levels, quality, Onslaught, critical strike chance, or even explosion effects.
Fist of Stone gloves are a major part of the finished version. They are not simply an offensive upgrade. They replace some of the protection normally expected from body armour while still leaving room for damage-focused modifiers. The helmet should lean heavily into Energy Shield, and boots need movement speed alongside reliable defensive values. A 35% movement speed roll makes the mapping experience much less awkward.
The immunity package is another reason this Monk performs well in crowded encounters. Hollow Keeper and Kraken's Rune of Warding deal with curses. Carved Tenacity helps prevent critical-hit problems, and blinded enemies lose their critical damage bonus. Legacy of Wanderlust covers slows. Crystallized Immunity, a high ailment threshold, and Morgana the Storm Seer help with Ignite, Electrocute, and Shock. A corrupted jewel modifier can handle Corrupted Blood, while Staunching Deflection supplies a 95% chance to deflect hits and protects against Bleeding and Maim.
Skills and the Combat Rhythm
Falling Thunder is the main strike and the skill around which the build is organised. No Projectiles, Culmination, Execute 3, Elemental Armament 2, and Rocky Flow are strong support choices. Rocky Flow is particularly valuable because it lets the attack ignore enemy elemental resistances, giving the skill much more consistent output against tougher targets.
Shattering Palm starts the combo and helps generate Power Charges through Alish Chimes. Living Lightning can create minions that contribute to combo generation, while Charge Profusion gives you more chances to gain charges during a fight. Charge Staff should be activated early. Its supports can extend the buff, pull enemies together, increase critical damage, blind targets, and occasionally preserve charges.
A practical rotation begins with Shattering Palm, followed by Charge Staff and then Falling Thunder. Use Flicker Strike when you need to cross a pack, reposition, or add area damage. Windancer adds another source of combo generation and gives the character useful defensive value. Charge Regulation matters throughout the encounter because leaving Low Life, even briefly, can remove several important damage bonuses.
How to Spend Your Investment
The quarterstaff should use a Sinister base when possible. Look for flat damage, elemental attack damage, critical strike chance, critical damage, and attack speed. Decree of Loyalty is the central body armour choice, with maximum Chaos Resistance, Energy Shield, strong defensive rolls, and an extra socket all carrying real value.
The Absence Amulet with Eternal Rage is another defining item. Eternal Rage provides a constant 30% more damage bonus, while melee skill levels and enough Spirit help complete the rest of the setup. Mageblood is the preferred belt because it adds movement speed, evasion, rarity, and two Charm slots.
On the passive tree, prioritise Energy Shield, evasion, critical strike chance, critical damage, Power Charges, and the Low Life nodes that directly support the concept. Killer Instinct and Pain Attunement are core picks. Staunching Deflection should not be treated as optional if you are relying on its Bleeding and Maim protection. For jewels, Heart of the Well can cover Corrupted Blood, Flesh Crucible Diamond supports Pain Attunement, and Time-Lost Jewel improves notable effects and critical scaling. A Megalomaniac Diamond containing Morgana the Storm Seer and Crystallized Immunity rounds out the protection package.
Final Thoughts
This is not a starter Monk, and moving into the complete version too early will leave obvious holes in both defence and damage. Build the Energy Shield base first, secure Decree of Loyalty and the important jewels, then make the transition when the Low Life mechanics can stay active without constant risk. You will quickly notice that the strongest upgrades are the items that enable the build, not minor increases to an already-good stat. Once Falling Thunder, Shattering Palm, Charge Staff, and Windancer are supported by the right equipment, the character becomes a fast, durable farmer with a very high damage ceiling. For players assembling the setup piece by piece, cheap Path of Exile 2 Orbs can make those essential purchases easier to reach.
